Since she was old enough to hold a paintbrush, Kat worked with her father, Pete Apostle of Apostle Painting and Decorating. From her father she developed a love and respect for color, prep work and faux finishing techniques.
Kat studied privately with the late Dick West, a renowned artist and illustrator. Techniques learned from Mr. West assisted Kat's development as an artist and in creating murals, clothing and leather goods.
She gained experience in painting automobiles from the bare metal from Dan Stalzer of Auto Body by Daniel. With this knowledge, she branched out to customize helmets, motorcycles, guitars, golf clubs, boats, and even an airplane.
Kat is located in the Suburbs of Chicago and has been featured in various newspaper articles in the Chicagoland area.
